Have only had breakfast here so far. The food was excellent. The portions were huge. The prices are fair . This will be our go to for breakfast in the area. Will try an evening meal soon. I would and do recommend this place .

They definitely named this restaurant appropriately! It's been a Very Long Time since we've had an experience like this! This was our first time here but most definitely not our last! The service was outstanding! All of the staff was great, our waitress Xaviera, was the absolute best! From the moment we walked in until the moment we left she was attentive to us as well as all the other customers, making sure everything was great (Which it was!) all with a big smile! You want to hear about the taste and portions of our meals!? I got the NY Strip, with a side salad and baked potato and my best friend got the Breaded Haddock, a side salad and sweet potato fries! Oh My... Everything Was So Darn Delicious, The Portions Were So Big And Filling (as we both needed to go boxes.) You really NEED to take a trip to The Special Place and see what all the hype is about... You Won't Be Disappointed! They pride themselves on 'Serving Those Who Served' and even had a Very Special Mothers Day Meal Event This Weekend! Out of the 5 stars that are available to rate The Special Place... We Give Them 10 Stars! Thank You!!!

This place was more then Special. It should be called 'The Awesome Place'! From the walls, to the staff and the portion sizes and selection. If I could I would eat there every day and night (breakfast is served all day and night) and be fat and happy!

THIS IS DEFINITELY A SPECIAL PLACE . AWESOME FOOD AND WORLD CLASS SERVICE. WAIT STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. Northern Dauphin County rocks hospitality! Would Rate it a solid 10 out of 5.

Great food, fast service, and great coffee. It was a wonderful surprise as we passed through town. I got eggs, potatoes, and a pancake . The eggs aren't super oily, the potatoes are crispy, and the pancake was soft Recommend stopping in for breakfast or brunch. Next time I'm trying the chicken and waffles
